- Bio Graduated as an architect by the Instituto Technologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Darío soon found his passion for Architectural Lighting Design. He started his career with one of the best lighting designers in Mexico; Javier Ten and his team Artenluz. Years later, Dario moves to Iceland and works for Lumex, the most prestigious lighting design company in this country. From 2010 to 2012 he attends a Master program at the Hochschule Wismar in Germany, obtaining a M.A. in Architectural Lighting Design. During these studies he worked as an intern at the award winning office L-Plan Lichtplanung in Berlin. Dario has collaborated in a wide variety of projects in different countries such as Mexico, Iceland, and Singapore. He has also worked as an independent consultant, and currently is part of the Lumex design team.
